ubuntu ကိုတင္ခ်င္လုိ႔ပါ တင္လို႔ရမရသိခ်င္လုိ႔ပါ။ သီးသန္ partition တခုအေနနဲ႔တင္ခ်င္လုိ႔ပါ။

ေက်းဇူးျပဳျပီးေျဖေပးပါ။

ဥဘြန္းတူ အေခြမွာပါတဲ့ wibi နဲ႔ တင္ေလ။ window 7 ဘက္က တင္ရင္ေတာ့ ပို အဆင္ေျပမယ္။

ခုလုိလ်င္လ်င္ျမန္ျမန္ျပန္လည္ေျဖၾကားေပးတဲ့အတြက္ အထူးပဲေက်းဇူးတင္ပါတယ္။

I am just a fresher to use Ubundu.
I want to ask how to install Chinese PRC typing on Ubundu ?

If I can solve this small problem, i would use Ubundu for my primary OS than Windows Vista because I am enthusiastic to learn the new things.

In the meantime Chinese language support is quite easy in Ubuntu. AFAIK you just install language-support-zh and you get your Chinese input and many more things. All you need is to switch the language environment for the program in question before starting it - if you normally run a non-Chinese locale.

To input Chinese in a document using gedit you type

export LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8
gedit

Activate Chinese input by pressing Ctrl-Space and you can enter Chinese in your document.
